Last week, the UK franchise community came together for one of the biggest events of the year, the BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards 2025. It was an incredible evening that brought together hundreds of franchisors, franchisees, suppliers, and partners to celebrate innovation, dedication, and success across the sector.
From inspiring breakout sessions to powerful keynote speakers, the day was a reminder of what makes franchising such a unique and impactful industry. As our own Jack Hayes shared:
“Walking into that conference room and seeing hundreds of franchise brands in one place really shows what makes this community special. It’s a chance to share stories, collaborate, and remember why we’re all in franchising, to make a real impact on people’s lives.”
He added:
“After a full day of learning, the awards ceremony is where you see all that hard work and passion come to life. It’s always one of the proudest moments of the year for so many people across the sector.”
This year’s awards recognised outstanding achievements from across the UK, celebrating those who lead with purpose, care, and creativity.
Caremark took home the top prize as Franchisor of the Year (Established), with Premier Education receiving Silver and Speedy Freight earning Bronze. Snap Fitness picked up the Research & Development award, while Stagecoach Performing Arts was recognised for Marketing Excellence. You can see the full list of award winners here.
Each of these brands has demonstrated what it means to lead by example, showing resilience, innovation, and a commitment to the ethical principles that underpin the franchise model.
